All sales offices are open.  We would like to recommend prospects bring your own masks, and practice social distancing.  If there are multiple prospects in a home, you may be asked to wait in a certain area or in your vehicle to allow for proper distancing.

Customer Service has reopened.  You will be contacted by your customer service representative to schedule your appointments.  Any new issues, please contact the Customer Service Department. 


March 30, 2020 4 p.m.

Based on the current update from the CDC and the govenor, we will continue to have our sales offices and design studio open by appointment only until further notice with virtual appointments available for our touring models and move-in ready homes.  Additionally, our warranty service team will continue to only handle emergencies through April 30th unless we are advised of a change by the CDC on social distancing guidelines.

GHO Homes is committed to maintaining the health and well-being of our customers and team members during this unprecedented time. Safety remains our top priority.  We are continuing to closely monitor federal, state and local guidelines on social distancing in order to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus). 

In compliance with the social distancing guidelines, and for the safety of you, your families and our team members, we have made the following decisions:

We are asking that you be mindful and postpone your visit if you or someone in your household is not feeling well, may have been exposed to COVID-19, has recently traveled to countries that have been designated by the CDC for a Level 2 or 3 Travel Health Notice, or returned from a cruise in the past 14 days.

For Home Shoppers:
Our New Home Sales and Model Home Centers will be by appointment only until at least the end of March. Should you wish to make an appointment, please contact us. All of our sales office and sales agent contact information is on the community pages of our website or available
For Home Buyers:
We are providing “appointment only” visits to our New Home Sales and Model Home Centers as well as our Design Studio.  Should you need to make an appointment to visit, please contact us. Please note the doors will be locked and we may not be on site, as we want our staff to be able to focus on their personal and family needs and balance the time in and out of the Models.  In addition, GHO Homes has made the decision to suspend construction visits and precon meetings (unless held online or via phone – we have arrangements and equipment for both); pre-close home walk-throughs will no longer be offered prior to closing; unless critical to the buyer – in which case we will attempt to arrange, but with a focus on personal safety and social distancing. Otherwise walk throughs and new home orientations will be rescheduled to a later date after the close of escrow on your home. Our teams will continue to perform our internal quality assurance process to ensure that the cosmetics and features of your home are up to GHO standards of quality.  In addition, we are happy to conduct an inspection of your home and upload / share the video report of this delivery inspection; if you have other reasonable requests we are happy to consider.


At this time, we do not anticipate the need to postpone closing dates on any homes. However, this is situations is very fluid and unprecedented and we cannot fully predict how COVID-19 will impact GHO Homes’ operations or how local jurisdictions will respond.  We are committed to keeping you apprised of any developments with regards to the close of your home.   
For Home Owners:
We are limiting warranty customer service appointments to emergency issues only. Please continue to submit your warranty service requests, as usual, to our customer service team (web, email, etc.)  but please understand that all non-emergency customer service requests will be scheduled for a later date for the safety of all parties involved. Should your 1 year Warranty expire during the time period that we suspended customer service appointments, GHO Homes will extend your warranty by one month after the date that GHO Homes provides notice that customer service appointments have resumed, which decision shall be made based on CDC recommendations and guidelines. 

We recognize that these are unsettling times and we want you to know that your well-being is of utmost priority to us.  We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience and understanding. We will notify you once we return to normal protocols and look forward to welcoming you to the community.

Even though there have been no reported cases of the COVID-19 virus reported on the Treasure Coast at this time, out of abundance of caution, we are discontinuing Warranty Service calls, other than emergencies, until April 1st, 2020. As that time approaches, we will update all customers as to how we will proceed. Our goal is to insure the safety and health of our employees, customers and subcontractors.  


March 17, 2020 10:00 a.m.

The majority of the local municipalities have issued "State of Emergency" protocols.  However, this is just forward planning to allow them to acquire and distribute funding for future needs that will occur as we continue.  All goverment offices and agencies, banks and title companies are still opening and working.  At this point, we are still moving forward with contruction and planned closings.  

Our sales offices are open, however, if you would prefer a virtual appointment, our sales team will set up either a FaceTime or Skype appointment with you.  Please reach out to our team and schedule an appointment.  Additionally, our Design Studio team is prepared to walk you through your Design Studio appointment through the same means if you would prefer not to come in for a personal tour and appointment.

As the world continues to address the day to day changes of the virus update, we are continuing to plan and work to keep our employees and customers as safe as possibe.

  • All our sales offices are open regular hours, but our virtual office,, is open 24 hours a day.  Walk our models with over 100 virtual tours on the website.  Call your sales agent and schedule a one-on-one appointment or a FaceTime appointment.  

  • Our construction teams and subcontractors are working diligently to have crews on site and not delay our process.

  • All county offices are still open and processing permits, though with children out of school, some of the staffing is limited.  We will not know for some time the impact on the time needed in the permitting process.  As we know, we will share.

  • The lenders and title companies are all still open and working, however, again with the same restrictions as the county.

As we here of any changes, we will continue to update you.


March 13, 2020 1 p.m.

In a concerted effort to keep GHOHomes customers, homeowners, employees, their families, trade partners, we are implementing the following protocols immediately.


Sales Offices, Models and Design Studio:

  • Our sales offices will remain open, however, we are taking the following precautions:We will no longer be shaking hands, hugging, etc. 
  • We will be keeping a “social distance” standing away from each other as to have less contact.
  • We shall endeavor to disinfectant the door knobs, faucets, bathrooms, and other common elements in the homes that people touch regularly
  • We have advised our Team Members to wash their hands regularly with disinfectant soaps.
  • We have canceled all events.
  • If you have been traveling or know someone who is sick, we ask that you do not attend. 
  • We do have interactive floorplans, videos online and more on our website.  Our sales agents can answer your questions on email, text or phone, or possibly even facetime.  

  • We want to be here for your home needs, however, we want to make sure you and our employees are safe.


Corporate Office:  

We are reducing the amount of staff in one location and having many of our corporate office personal work from home.  If you need to reach a staff member, please reach out by email as much as possible. 


Warranty & Customer Service:

All non-emergency customer service and warranty appointments will be postponed for at least 1 week, and as we assess the need will advise and modify the schedule.  This will be for our employee appointments as well as our subcontractor appointments as we want to insure the safety of all of our homeowners. 



Any GHO Team member that has been traveling, in contact with anyone that has been traveling, they will be required to self quarantine for 14 days.  Everyone associated with GHO who in any way tests positive for the Coronavirus (COVID-19) should contact GHO after reporting to the Florida Department of Health's 24/7 hotline at 866.779.6121.  Please also notify and your immediate supervisor.  NO EXCEPTIONS. 



The CDC recommends that anyone who has done any international travel should be self-quarantined for 14 days. If you or someone in your household has traveled on an airplane (even domestic) or a cruise, you are to self quarantine the 14 days prior to returning to work..  All office staff employees are capable of working remotely from your home and we will make arrangements to drop off whatever equipment you may need from the office
