Recently, Green Brick Partners, Inc. (NASDAQ: GRBK)--- a diversified homebuilding and land development company that currently operates in Texas, Georgia, Colorado, and Florida--- formed a partnership with Bill Handler, the owner of GHO Homes Corp., whereby Green Brick has a controlling interest in the ongoing operations of GHO Homes. This is great news for GHO Homes as this will allow more working capital to expand, fund land development, and provide the team and customers security in having this well-heeled partner. Green Brick’s mission is to grow business by combining strong financial resources with Team Builders™ in locations across the country who have deep relationships in the communities where they live and build. Green Brick Partners has 6 other Team Builders™ across the country and have extensive experience and understanding in home building and land development. This is a wonderful opportunity for the GHO team and we look forward to what lies before us as we capitalize on this endeavor.

 

This partnership affects minimal change to the GHO Homes brand. We will have the same employees and management and will build and handle sales the same way as we always have. The only visible change is the addition of Green Brick Partners to the GHO Homes logo and our corporate name will now be GBRK GHO HOMES LLC, although we will still operate under the GHO Homes name and brand.
